Tucson Electric Power and Arizona Electric Power Cooperative have completed new solar installations in Cochise County that collectively supply renewable energy to more than 90,000 homes across Arizona. TEP's Babacomari Solar facility alone features more than 350,000 panels and connects to the company's existing transmission corridor between Fort Huachuca and the Tucson area.
Pima Air and Space Museum marks 50 years. The Pima Air and Space Museum, one of the largest aviation and aerospace museums in the world, is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026. Tucson leaders convene extreme heat summit; Donna Liggins center to become first resilience hub.
