Pascua Yaqui Tribe cemetery to be preserved within Marana's 750-acre mixed-use development. A Pascua Yaqui-owned burial site containing about two dozen graves, located west of Interstate 10 and north of Twin Peaks Road, will be left undisturbed as developer Bourne Partners builds a roughly 750-acre mixed-use project around it in Marana. Town officials say a 50-foot protective buffer will surround the cemetery and access will remain open throughout construction. The project will add a mix of residential and commercial uses as Marana continues its rapid growth northwest of Tucson.
