Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office crews were searching the area near Rio Rico. Authorities have not yet confirmed identities or cause of death.

Marana barrel racer killed in hit-and-run. Kyrsten Sovereign, 23, of Marana, was killed July 11 in a hit-and-run crash while traveling to a barrel racing event, according to the Arizona Daily Star. No further details on suspect or vehicle have been reported.
