What the office does

The county code names the director of the Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department as the official who administers, implements and enforces the county's industrial wastewater ordinance; it does not otherwise define the office. The department describes its work as designing, managing and maintaining the county's 3,500 miles of sanitary sewer and its two metropolitan and six sub-regional water reclamation facilities.
