Background
Appointed effective April 21, 2025, succeeding David Udall, who moved to deputy director of the Legal Department. Previously the town's Cultural and Heritage Specialist.

What the office does

The clerk keeps a true and correct record of all business the council transacts, prepares the minutes of council proceedings, files and publishes ordinances and resolutions, keeps public records open for inspection, and is the town election official and the issuer of town licenses. By state law the clerk is also the town treasurer; Marana's code requires the clerk to delegate the treasurer's duties to the finance director. The clerk is appointed by and reports to the town manager.
