Driver sentenced to 7 years for I-10 school bus crash near Marana. Nicolas Luis Rodriguez was sentenced Monday to seven years in prison for a 2025 crash in which his vehicle struck a school bus carrying 35 Kingman students on I-10 near Marana. Rodriguez, who admitted to using a THC vape that day and said he was rushing to a job interview, pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated assault with severe injury; the judge also ordered more than $179,000 in restitution to victims and for bus damage.
