⛈️ Weather — Tucson

⚠️ Red Flag Warning in effect across southeast Arizona from Saturday morning through Sunday evening. NWS Tucson has issued a Red Flag Warning from 10 a.m. Saturday to 8 p.m. Sunday for the Tucson-area fire-weather zones, citing strong, gusty winds, low humidity, and critically high fire danger. Any spark can start a wildfire under these conditions — avoid outdoor burning, skip equipment that throws sparks, and don't park hot vehicles over dry grass. The warning lands amid dangerous heat that holds all weekend, making time outdoors doubly hazardous.

Today (Friday): Sunny and dangerously hot, with a high near 107°F. Heat index values as high as 103°F. South-southwest winds 5–16 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, low around 76°F. Heat index values as high as 101°F. South-southeast winds 6–16 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, high near 106°F. Heat index values as high as 101°F. South-southwest winds 8–18 mph with gusts up to 29 mph.

Outlook: Dangerous heat continues through the weekend with highs ranging from 103–107°F through Sunday. The gusty winds driving Saturday and Sunday's Red Flag Warning keep fire danger critical across the region. Temperatures ease slightly into next week, with a high near 101°F forecast for Monday.
