Officer-involved shooting follows armed carjacking. Tucson police were involved in a shooting overnight after responding to an armed carjacking. The preliminary investigation determined the suspect was armed with a handgun; the carjacking victim was not injured. Additional details are expected as the investigation continues.

Woman found dead near Sabino Canyon's Bear Canyon Trail. A 66-year-old woman was found dead Tuesday morning near the Bear Canyon Trail in Sabino Canyon, authorities said. It marks the second time in a week a woman has been found dead on a hiking trail in southern Arizona.
