Woman killed in rollover crash at Davis-Monthan AFB. A 20-year-old woman died after being partially ejected from her vehicle in a rollover crash on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in the early hours of Saturday, July 4. A teenage passenger sustained minor injuries. No additional details about the cause of the crash have been released.

Motorcyclist killed in Pima County crash near Valencia and Cardinal. A 34-year-old man died after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Cardinal Avenue and West Valencia Road on Saturday evening, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department. His passenger was injured; deputies noted the rider was not wearing a helmet while his passenger was.
Fireworks spark large brush fire on Tucson's south side. Tucson firefighters extinguished a large brush fire that ignited shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday on the south side of the city. Fireworks discovered in the street near the origin are believed to have caused the blaze, according to KOLD.
Wildfire in Dudleyville contained; forward progress stopped. Fire officials reported Sunday afternoon that forward progress had been stopped on the Sunnyvale Fire burning in the Pinal County river bottom near Dudleyville, a small community north of Tucson.
